A rectangular brass plaque insert into marble tablet. A South Wales Borderers emblem in relief at the left side of inscription and a Latin cross on top of inscription. Raised inscription with roman caps.

TO THE GLORY OF GOD/ AND IN LOVING MEMORY OF/ JAMES ARTHUR JONES/ CAPTAIN 10TH SOUTH WALES BORDERERS/ KILLED IN ACTION WHILST LEADING HIS MEN IN THE ATTACK OF LE CATEAU, 8TH OCT. 1918/ LAID TO REST AT GUISINCOURT FARM BRITISH CEMETERY/ AGED 28/ 2ND SON OF THE LATE REV.
