- Stone column surmounted by an orb with a bronze sculpture of an eagle with wings outstretched on top. Station badge carved at top of column. Seven squadron badges on Welsh slate are set into the paving around the memorial. The squadrons are 61 and 144 RAF Hampden Sqn; 300 RAF Wellington Sqn; 301 RAF Wellington Sqn; 305 Wellington Sqn; No. 1 Lancaster finishing school; 150 and 170 RAF Lancaster Sqn.

- The letters are now difficult to read and the station badge has lost its original colour. The bronze eagle was stolen 2000, but was replaced by the sculptor John Mills.

- Intercom 69/Summer 1995 Published:Air Crew Association on the "Classified" page - "New Memorial 150 Squadron RAF" paragraph advertising the dedication service "in the Priory on Sunday 10 September 1995" and requesting "Donations ("to 150 Sqn Memorial Fund) for the memorial and a Book of Remembrance are still urgently needed." However, this date differs from the actual date of the service which appears on the memorial and no exact location of "the Priory" is mentioned
