- Metal, triangular slated top over metal half circle lynch gate. This is supported on two brick pillars with gates attached at entrance to church.
- Inscription
- THIS LYCH GATE WAS ERECTED BY SURVIVING MEMBERS OF THE SUPPORT SQUADRON, EASTERN FLAK, IN HONOURED MEMORY OF ALL THEIR SHIPMATES WHO LOST THEIR LIVES IN THE ASSAULT ON WALCHEREN ISLAND ON 1ST NOVEMBER 1944. ALSO IN MEMORY OF EARLIER SQUADRON LOSSES OFF THE NORMANDY BEACHES FROM 6TH JUNE TO 28TH AUGUST 1944.
