- Garden of remembrance with dedicatory stepped curved wall placed within it, two flower beds abut the paved area in front of the wall. On the centre wall beneath the base name and war years are the badges of 97, 617, 619 and 627 Squadrons Royal Air Force that flew from the base during WW2, beneath these is a dedicatory plaque to the founder of Thorpe Camp.
