History
2005: TELEPHONE CALL FROM AN ARCHITECT STATES THAT THE INSCRIPTION IS MORE OR LESS ILLEGIBLE. THERE IS A PROPOSAL TO RECTIFY THIS. 2022. The inscription and names are totally unreadable with any certainty except for one which has been highlighted in black pen. A willow tree has been allowed to grow over the crucifix on top of the memorial. The memorial overall is in a very poor condition.
