Brass plaque with incised inscription. At the base of the plaque are incised two lines of music which are from the responses at morning and evening prayer " The Lord's name be praised" ( Ferial setting).

WILLIAM TOMLINSON,/ SERGEANT, NORTHUMBERLAND HUSSARS./ THE ELDEST OF SIX BROTHERS WHO WERE/ SINGING BOYS IN THE QUIRE./ BORN 25TH MAY, 1895./ DIED ON ACTIVE SERVICE AT BUSIGNY IN FRANCE./ 6TH NOVEMBER 1918.
