MARBLE PAVED WALK WITH DEDICATORY METAL PLAQUE (IN ENGLISH AND FRENCH) PLACED ON A PILLAR AT THE BEGINNING OF THE WALK. MAPLE LEAF EMBLEM ON THE FRONT OF THE PILLAR.

CANADA WALK/ HERE IN A BUILDING OPPOSITE AT 20 LINCOLN'S INN FIELDS/ WAS THE HEADQUARTERS OF THE ROYAL CANADIAN AIR FORCE/ IN GREAT BRITAIN DURING THE SECOND WORLD WAR. THIS/ HEADQUARTERS PROVIDED CONTROL SUPPORT TO SOME 85,000/ CANADIAN PERSONNEL WHO SERVED IN 48 RCAF SQUADRONS/ AND WITH NUMEROUS RAF UNITS. IN ALL, 14,455 CANADIAN/ AIRMEN MADE THE SUPREME SACRIFICE WHILE SERVING/ OVERSEAS/ PROMENADE DU CANADA/ C'EST ICI, EN FACE DU 20 LINCOLN'S INN FIELDS QUE SE TROUVAIT / CE QUARTIER GENERAL DE L'AVIATION ROYALE DU CANADA EN / GRANDE-BRETAGNE, DURAT LA SECONDE GUERRE MONDIALE. / CE QUARTIER GENERAL FOURNISSAIT UN SOUTIEN CENTRAL AUX QUELQUE / 85,000 MILITAIRES CANADIENS QUI SERVAIENT AU SEIN DE 48 ESCADRONS / DE L'ARC ET DE NOMBREUSES UNITES DE LA RAF.
