Description
Square base surmounted by tapered plinth, tapered shaft and cross. Nine cast bronze name plaques placed on a semi circular brick wall to the rear of the cross. Avenue of 12 trees leads up to the memorial. Wreath in relief at the top centre of each plaque.

1921: LANDSCAPING CARRIED OUT BY MESSRS BROADHEAD AND SONS, THONGSBRIDGE, HUDDERSFIELD. ALL WORK CARRIED OUT UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF MR J W BURROWS OF BIRSTALL, NEAR LEEDS. c1921: A First World War tank was incorporated into the garden and positioned beside the cross.
