- Description
- Single-stepped foundation base supporting a small red brick wall with an inset polished granite tablet. Capping stone on top of wall. Etched into the tablet above the inscription are three badges, left to right, 3 Group Bomber Command, Royal Air Force and 75 New Zealand Squadron. Below the inscription are illustrations of (left) a Stirling and (right) a Lancaster bomber aircraft. Below, is a plan of the former airfield.
