- To the Glory of God and in loving memory of / INNES D'AUVERGNE STEWART STITT. / 2nd Lieut 1/16th London Regt. (Queen's Westminster Rifles.) / Dearly loved son of Revd. S. Stewart Stitt, M.A. / Rector of this Parish and Mary his wife. / Reported missing in the Great War at Towy Post, near Arras, France / March 28th., 1918. Aged 19 years / "THINK NOT THAT WE MADE FINE SACRIFICE, HEROIC WITH SACRIFICIAL SIGHS: / BUT MOVED TO AN END APPOINTED MEET, AND THE INCOMPLETE THAT WE MADE COMPLETE"/ INNIS STITT. //
