Brass plaque with a laurel leaf design border and an image of James Wolfe in relief above the dedication, which is also in relief. Below is a subsidiary plaque commemorating the unveiling of the memorial in 1908.

Plaque: TO THE GLORY OF GO AND/TO THE MEMORY OF/JAME WOLFE/MAJOR GENERAL:/BORN AT WESTERHAM IN/ KENT 2 JANUARY 1727: DIED /VICTORIOUS ON THE HEIGHTS/ABOVE QUEBEC 13 SEPTEMBER 1759./THEREBY ADDING CANADA TO THE/EMPIRE. HE WAS BURIED BENEATH/THIS SPOT 20 NOVEMBER 1759. Subsidiary plaque: THE ABOVE TABLET RAISED BY PUBLIC SUBSCRIPTION/ WAS UNVEILED BY/ FIELD MARSHAL SIR GEORGE WHITE., V.C., G.C.B./ NOVEMBER 20, 1908.
