- TRIANGULAR HEADED WHITE MARBLE TABLET MOUNTED ONTO A BLACK MARBLE BACKBOARD. INCISED INSCRIPTION. PLAQUE GIVING DETAILS OF THE PREVIUOS HOME OF THE TABLET IS PLACED BELOW IT. ANCHOR CARVED IN RELIEF ABOVE THE INSCRIPTION TABLET WITH A SMALL PART OF AN ANCHOR CHAIN CARVED AT THE BASE OF THE TABLET.

"MARLBOROUGH"/ WHO DIED AT GIBRALTAR HOSPITAL,/ NOVEMBER 28TH 1839,/ AND IS BURIED IN THE CEMETERY/ NORTH FRONT/ BY KIND PERMISSION OF THE COUNCIL/ OF THE ROYAL NAVAL SCHOOL,/ THIS TABLET IS ERECTED BY HIS PARENTS./ "I SENT YOU OUT IN MOURNING AND WEEPING,/ BUT GOD WILL GIVE YOU TO ME AGAIN WITH/ JOY AND GLADNESS FOR EVER"/ BARUCH 1V_23/ "HE SHALL GIVE HIS NAGELS CHARGE OVER THESE"/ LIKE IV_10/ "THE WILL OF THE LORD BE DONE"/ ACTS XXI1_14./ AETAT. XIV.
