- Description
- Rectangular brass plaque, the longer axis horizontal. A border of laurel leaves within single lines with rosettes at the corners. At top RAF wings and motto set in a shallow trefoil shape inset into the border. The dedication and border are all incised and coloured black.

D.F.C.,/ ROYAL AIR FORCE,/ ELDEST SON OF ARTHUR LIONEL AND ISOBEL WOODHOUSE,/ TOFTS, LITTLE BADDOW,/ KILLED IN ACTION IN FRANCE./ BORN 10TH DECEMBER 1896,/ DIED 27TH SEPTEMBER 1918./ "AND THEY SHALL BE MINE SAITH THE LORD OF HOSTS IN THAT DAY WHEN I MAKE UP MY JEWELS."
