- THE ORIGINAL MEMORIAL WINDOW WAS DAMAGED IN A FIRE IN THE 1970'S AND THE REMAINS OF THE STAINED GLASS WHICH INCLUDES THE INSCRIPTION FROM IT HAVE BEEN RECONSTRUCTED TO FORM A CENTRAL PANEL IN A PLAIN GLASS WINDOW. THE INSCRIPTION, FORMERLY IN 2 LINES ACROSS THE WIDTH OF THE WINDOW, HAS NOW BEEN MOUNTED IN 3 PIECES OF 2 LINES EACH PLACED ONE BELOW THE OTHER WHICH HAS MIS-ALIGNED THE ORIGINAL WORDING
