BRASS PLATE MOUNTED ON MARBLE THE INSCRIPTION IS SURMOUNTED BY A CAST CORNICE WITH A DEEP FRIEZE OF A VINE AND LEAF DECORATION WITH A CENTRALLY PLACED RAISED LATIN CROSS ENCIRCLED BY A LAUREL WREATH AND AN ORNAMENTAL TUDOR BORDER. THE MANUFACTURERS MARK IS INCISED ON THE LOWER RIGHT HAND CORNER.
