- Description
- Three-storey memorial hall constructed in neoclassical style with triangular pediment and matching portico covering staircase entrance. Portico has four doric columns and four doric pilasters. Dedicatory inscription is incised on frieze beneath pediment on main facade and on frieze beneath pediment on the porch. Two tablets on pilasters have moulded stone architraves and are incised with a roll of honour. Dedicatory plaque, with inscription in relief, is bolted to stonework above the main door.

- 2002: District council plans to demolish the original hospital which is located across the road. Apsley hall will not be affected by this. 1988: District council bought the original hospital for development
- Costs
Comments: Originally a Chapel built in 1833 on land leased from Lord Bathurst. Converted into a public hall (Apsley Hall) by Lord Bathurst in 1888. War memorial added to front in c1919 and given by Lord Bathurst to the Memorial Hospital in 1921. Became Cirencester Memorial Centre in 1990 and functions as a mental health resource centre for NHS Gloucestershire Health and Care.
