THE CHURCH WAS SOLD TO THE TEXTILE COMPANY AND MOVED INTO A NEW SITE IN THE NEXT STREET. THE OLD BUILDING IS THREATENED BY DEMOLITION BUT THE CHURCH HAVE INDICATED THAT IF THIS HAPPENS, THE MEMORIAL WILL BE TRANSFERRED (MAY 2001). The 'new' church building was sold for use as a Community Centre and the Church now (2015) meets at Horse Carrs on Shawclough Road (OL12 6LG) and is now called “Open Door�.
