- ERECTED TO THE GLORY OF GOD & IN GRATEFUL MEMORY OF THE DEVOTION/ "EVEN UNTO DEATH" OF THE YOUNG MEN OF THIS CHURCH & SUNDAY SCHOOL/ WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES IN THE CAUSE OF FREEDOM, TRUTH & JUSTICE/ IN THE GREAT WAR 1914 - 1918. THEIR NAMES ARE RECORDED HEREON/ (NAMES)/ GLORY TO GOD AND ON EARTH PEACE AT THE GOING DOWN OF THE SUN AND IN THE MORNING WE WILL REMEMBER THEM SO THEY PASSED OVER & ALL THE TRUMPETS SOUNDED FOR THEM ON THE OTHER SIDE (EXACT POSITIONING OF INSCRIPTION IS UNKNOWN)
