Description
A large, arched, stone adjunct to the church wall with an ornate carved border of leaves and berries. At the top of the structure is a roundel depicting St. George and the dragon, with smaller roundels on each side. Underneath a ridge is a dedication in raised lettering on a gold background. Beneath this are three bronze panels embellished with thistles and trefoils on their sides with WW1 names in raised lettering, with those who died indented. The arch sits in a lower section with a ledge above a further quotation in raised lettering on a gold background. Below is a wide, brass plaque with a wreath in relief at bottom plus WW2 names & rank in raised lettering. The memorial is surmounted by a small cross.
