- Sunday Post - Sunday 11 September 1921 www.britishnewspaperarchive.co.uk/viewer/bl/0000566/19210911/049/0003 At Old Kilpatrick yesterday a granite war memorial cross, bearing the names of the forty-nine local men who fell in the war, was unveiled by Mr H. H. M. Napier, J.P. The ceremony was performed before a large gathering, and presided over by the parish minister, Rev. Harry Smith.
