Marble Porch flanked by dedicatory brass plaques. The upper architrave of the marble Doric portico is inscribed with a greek phrase from Simonides: ΟΥΔΕ ΤΕΘΝΑΣΙ ΘΑΝΟΝΤΕΣ. [which translates as 'They died but are not dead'].
