- Description
- Rear cross painted white, front one unpainted because believed to be made from part of the Hurricane. Plaque between the two crosses. White fence each side. There was a small model Hurricane and RAF cap badge also but these disappeared some time ago.

- In Memory of Sgt Leonard May / Died in a Hurricane crash at this spot on 8 July 1941 / "Life, to be sure, is nothing much to lose. / But young men think it is, and we were young." (Crash was actually on the other side of the field over the road)
