- Pedimented wooden board. The pediment features, in low relief, two carved figures representing Art and Literature, and they are surrounded by symbols of these two spheres of creative activity. The sit on either side of the school badge. The school motto is "Qui Non Proficit Deficit" and this is also carved on the memorial. The gold lettering is also in low relief
