The Memorial Hall of Ardersier, Inverness-shire, was, in the unavoidable absence of Sir Murdoch Macdonald, M.P., declared open on Wednesday by Mrs Burnett of Leys. The hall, built at a cost about £2000, will accommodate about 400, and is equipped with kitchen, committee rooms, etc. A bazaar was held on the opening day to clear off the remainder of the debt, and realised the sum of nearly £600. The hall Is thus clear of debt.
