  • (Glasgow Herald 18th November 1919) "Sir Andrew N. Agnew Bart. of Lochnaw, unveiled the obelisk which has been erected on a commanding position in Leswalt New Cemetery in memory of the men belonging to the parish who fell in the great war. A joint memorial service was held in the U.F. church, and afterwards the memorial was dedicated by the Rev. J. Balfour Robertson, minister of the parish."
