- Description
- Soldier in helmet and greatcoat with rifle raised in guard position. The helmet is cocked at a jaunty angle and the coat collar is turned up. The whole is mounted on a rough stone plinth (from nearby Minto Crags). Names are on a plaque standing just above ground level in front of the plinth. It is in its own hedged garden in the churchyard
