- Description
- A fenced, paved garden with benches. The memorial has two plaques mounted on a stone wall with a Bronze torch mounted between them. The dedicatory inscription is incised in the wall lower right. The name plaques have raised lettering. Originally, the First World War plaque was mounted on a free-standing tablet which was in the shape of a door with a triangular pediment. Two bronze torches flanked the plaque. This tablet stood outside the Portslade Royal British Legion Club.
