- CARVED AND DECORATED UPRIGHT STONE ON WHICH VERSE BY SIEGFRIED SASSOON ("Everyone Sang") IS CARVED. LARGE METAL V WITH E ENGRAVED UPON IT ATTACHED TO STONE BENEATH VERSE. The memorial was placed in the gardens on the 50th Anniversary of VE day in 1995.
