- Description
- Three-stepped hexagonal base surmounted by a large cube-like plinth incorporating scalloped top corners, followed by a square sectioned shaft base transposing to a tapering octagonal sectioned shaft and a flared octagonal-armed cross. Incised inscription on one plinth face and names on two faces.

- 6 o'clock face : TO THE / GLORY OF GOD / AND IN / THANKFUL REMEMBRANCE / OF THE / MEN OF BRANTHAM / WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES / IN THE GREAT WAR / 1914 -1918 / ALSO / 1939 -1945 / THINE O LORD IS THE GREATNESS AND / THE POWER AND THE GLORY AND THE / VICTORY AND THE MAJESTY. 9 o' clock face : (20+4 NAMES) 3 o' clock face : (20+4 NAMES) NB. 8x WW2 fallen are the bottom 4 on each of the two name faces.
