- History
- The Luton Co-operative Society War Memorial was erected in the Manchester Road department store in 1946. Following the store's closure in the 1980s, the memorial was moved to storage at Park Street. In 1992 the Park Street premises were vacated, following which, in 1993, the memorial was relocated to the Royal British Legion Club in Marsh Road, Leagrave.
