- Description
- Convex headed stone tablet set on a brick base against a raised flowerbed, and enclosed by a semi circular brick wall with the entrance at the front. It is set on a semi circular base of coloured bricks in the form of an RAF roundel. The tablet is incised with the inscription picked out in gold, and coloured badges of 50 and 61 Squadrons Royal Air Force in the upper corners of the tablet. There are two small brass dedicatory plaques in the flower bed. Additionally just to the east of the memorial there is a village sign depicting a Lancaster aircraft.
