- Description
- The cast bright brass plaque has a segmented section in the centre in which his Regimental crest is portrayed in raised relief. The grained black marble backboard has a raised section of the same profile. The dedication has a raised border of roses and rose buds on thorned stalks with leaves. The writing is cast in relief.

- To the Glory of God and in Loving Memory of/ Lieut. Col. Ralph Hindle DSO/ 1/4 Loyal North Lancashire Regiment - who was/ Killed in Action near Cambria, Nov. 30. 1917, aged 35./ He was wounded at Festubert, on June 15. 1915/ and was three times Mentioned in Despatches/ He received the Disctinguished Service Order & was later/ awarded a Bar for Conspicuous Gallantry and Devotion/ to Duty whilst leading his Battalion during an Advance./ Fight the Good Fight
