Description
THREE STEPPED SQUARE BASE SURMOUNTED BY PLINTH, TAPERED SHAFT AND STYLISED CROSS. INSCRIPTIONS ON FACES OF THE PLINTH. WHOLE STANDS ON A RAISED AREA ENCLOSED BY A LOW WALL WITH ENTRANCE POINTS ON THREE SIDES. Around the centenary anniversary of WW1 in 2014 new brass plaques (1 dedication, 2 WW1 and 1/WW2) were added to one of the surrounding walls due to the original inscription on the plinth being heavily eroded.
