Description
Wall mounted, portrait orientated nowy-headed tablet. Incised inscription and names infilled with black enamel paint. Top centre is the badge of the Royal Sussex Regiment. Near the base is an illustration of a ship.

To the Glory of God / and in the memory of the / 402 men and women / who died when the / S.S. Transylvania was / torpedoed in the Gulf / of Genoa 4th May 1917. / Many of these were officers / and other ranks of the Royal / Sussex Regiment and amongst / these were Pte J.R. Bailey, / Pte H.T. Barnes, Pte T.C.Cooch, / Pte W.J. Thompson, Pte C.A. Willis / all of Kettering and / Pte A. Bosworth, Pte E.Tibbits / both of Rothwell / The Royal Sussex Regimental Association 1989
