C 1950: IT IS BELIEVED THAT THE FOUNTAIN WAS REMOVED AS PART OF THE REDEVELOPMENT OF VICTORIA SQUARE. THE CURRENT LOCATION OF THE MEMORIAL IS UNKNOWN ALTHOUGH IT COULD BE IN A COUNCIL YARD
