- Fluted column set on a square base with the inscription on the 6 o'clock face in black lettering. Acanthus frieze at the top with a carved stone motif.

- THIS MONUMENT/ IS THOUGHT TO HAVE BEEN ERECTED/ BY THE DUDDING FAMILY/ WHO LIVED HERE 1797-1812/ TO CELEBRATE THEIR COUSIN/ ADMIRAL NELSONS VICTORY/ AT TRAFALGAR/ RE-ERECTED 1999/ THAT THE EARL OF WARWICK DIED HERE/ AFTER THE BATTLE OF BARNET IN 1471/ IS PROBABLY A MYTH.
