- Description
- Small, pink, marble rectangular Memorial Plaque. The plaque has a thin, undecorated border. The plaque itself is constructed of greatly varying pink marble; from a very faint whitish pink on the right hand side to a salmon pink streaked with red on the left hand side. Decorated with the insignia of the Royal West Kent Regiment, the Horse of Kent. This is topped by a gilded crown, which itself is topped by a gilded lion wearing a subsequent gilded crown. The lettering is capitalised in a slim, black type-face.
