- Description
- Rectangular bronze plaque mounted within a wooden frame. Bronze garland with crest in the middle placed at the top of the frame. Dog tooth design carved on the edge of the frame. Note: in its original home, the bell of the SS Almanzora was fixed immediately above the plaque (see images), and eight bells were struck on the bell on Remembrance Day each year. The bell is still kept near the memorial.
