- Granite rough hewn pillar surmounted with grey slate tilted at 60 degrees facing the field where the plane crashed along with two granite benches. Small Polish eagle above the inscription.

TANGMERE / (formerly of the Polish Air Force) / Died aged 23 when his "Hurricane" V7221 / crashed following aerial combat / with a German Me 109 / HE DIED DEFENDING BRITIAN, POLAND AND FREEDOM
