- BRONZE PLAQUE WITH CURVED PEDIMENT AT TOP. INVERTED SWORD WITH NAMES IN THREE COLUMNS SET ON EACH SIDE. PEDIMENT HAS MODELS IN HIGH RELIEF OF A ROMAN HELMET, SHIELD AND SWORD, ENTWINED WITH LAUREL. ON EITHER SIDE OF THE HELMET IS AN ADAPTATION OF ROMAN STANDARDS, WITH THE LION OF BRITAIN ON ONE SIDE AND THE AMERICAN EAGLE ON THE OTHER. ON EITHER SIDE OF THE SHIELD ARE FLAGS OF AMERICA AND BRITAIN, WITH OTHER FLAGS BEHIND, FILLING UP THE PEDIMENT. SIDE PILASTERS ARE A PALM BRANCH ON LEFT AND LAUREL BRANCH ON RIGHT. THE NAMES ARE GROUPED UNDER THE TOWNS AND COUNTRIES IN WHICH EMPLOYEES WORKED, I.E. LONDON, BRISTOL, LIVERPOOL, SOUTHAMPTON, AUSTRALIA, CANADA, CHINA, INDIA, NEWFOUNDLAND, NEW ZEALAND, NORWAY, SOUTH AFRICA, SOUTH AMERICA, USA.
