Description
Temple of classical design with eighteen plaques inside commemorating British military victories from 1760 to 1815.

DATE UNKNOWN: BUSTS OF GEORGE III, GEORGE IV, WILLIAM IV AND THE DUKE OF WELLINGTON WERE PLACED INSIDE BUT THESE HAVE NOW GONE. A LARGE TABLET DETAILING THE DEFEAT OF NAPOLEAN'S NAVY AT ABOUKIR BAY WAS ALSO PLACED INSIDE BUT THIS TOO HAS GONE
