Description
Grey granite Cenotaph surmounted by a bronze figure of a soldier in full kit. The plinth is mounted on a two stage base and stands on two sandstone steps. A bronze laurel wreath hangs over each corner of the pedestal. The memorial is protected by grey granite posts, which have pink granite posts behind, and there are posts and chains set around the lower step. The dedication and names plaques are cast bronze. The WW1 Dedication is on the front face of the plinth, with the names on the other three faces. The WW2 Dedication is on the upper step of the base of the plinth, with the names on the four faces of the lower step. The Korean War plaque is on the upper step at the rear of the plinth.
