- 1975: THE URC CHAPEL WAS CLOSED IN 1975. 1976: IT WAS RE-OPENED BRIEFLY BETWEEN 1976 AND 1980 WHEN IT BECAME THE SHARED ANGLICAN AND URC CHURCH, BUT THEN CLOSED AGAIN IN NOVEMBER WHEN THE NEW SHARED ST MICHAEL AND ALL ANGELS CHURCH WAS OPENED. 1980S: BUILDING WAS BOUGHT BY THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH BUT WAS DERELICT WHEN THEY MOVED IN AND THE MEMORIAL WAS NOT THERE.
