(RETD)/ ON 25TH MAY 1965./ THE GRASSMEAD ESTATE IS DEDICATED TO THOSE ILLUSTRIOUS/ PILOTS WHO FLEW WITH THE ROYAL AIR FORCE DURING/ THE BATTLE OF BRITAIN. THE ROADS HEREON ARE NAMED/ AFTER SOME OF THEM WHO DIED IN THE CAUSE OF FREEDOM/ WHICH WE ENJOY TODAY./ (NAMES)
