Wall mounted rectangular brass plaque with incised inscription in red & black lettering. Lancet-shaped border around inscription, red painted Latin cross at top centre and family Crest at top left and Crest of the Royal Warwickshire Regiment at top right.

TO THE GLORY OF GOD/ AND IN MEMORY OF/ ARTHUR EDMUND THURSBY/ OF HARDWICKE HILL IN THIS PARISH,/ LIEUT. COLONEL OF THE 5TH BATTALION/ ROYAL WARWICKSHIRE REGIMENT,/ WHO DIED AT SUTHERLAND S. AFRICA,/ OF ENTERIC FEVER ON MARCH 7TH 1902/ IN HIS 42ND YEAR./ CHURCHWARDEN OF THIS PARISH 16 YEARS./ "I HAVE FOUGHT A GOOD FIGHT,/ I HABE FINISHED MY COURSE,/ I HAVE KEPT THE FAITH."/ THIS BRASS WAS PLACED HERE BY THE INHABITANTS/ OF PRIORS HARDWICK IN GRATEFUL REMEMBRANCE
