Description
White triangular obelisk-like structure of Portland stone with a wide base and only slight taper then a small pointed peak at the top. At each corner is a short pillar jutting out from the main structure surmounted by a seated black painted metal lion. Kent device in relief above inscription on one side. Cross on other two sides. WW1 inscription and names are carved on the sides of the memorial and on attached plaques. The area is enclosed by a low wall. Eight additional tablets are placed around the inside edge of the wall with other conflict names on them. For information board see WMR 69798.
