- Description
- Protruding two-stage, five-sided plinth, partially set into a support wall, stands on the upper step of two wide steps from pavement. Rising from the plinth upper stage is a square sectioned tapering Latin cross with Sword of Sacrifice in relief at front. Plan view of plinth takes the form of a half-octagonal footprint. Inscribed bronze plaque on each front face of upper & lower plinth. Both plaques are similarly decorated with an engraved dual-lined border with outward facing loops at corners. Name plaque has a British Legion motif engraved centrally above WW1, WW2 names.
