- Description
- White marble tablet with black lettering superimposed on a dark grey marble background. There are two rifles at the bottom of the Memorial. Oblong with the long sides mounted vertically althought there are two small oblong protusions in the same stone at the bottom of each long side and further up to a point about 3/4 of the way along the length, there are a further two protruding from the bottom edge, almost at each corner.

- SACRED/ TO THE MEMORY OF/ HARRY ALLEN,/ OF THIS TOWN/ WHO DIED OF WOUNDS/ RECEIVED IN ACTION IN FRANCE/ 10TH OCT 1916/ AGED 20 YEARS./ AND WAS BURIED AT/ NIEPPE CEMETERY, NEAR ARMEMTIERES/ HE DIED THE NOBLEST DEATH/ A MAN CAN DIE/ FIGHTING FOR GOD & RIGHT & LIBERTY AND SUCH A DEATH IS IMMORTALITY. 2ND ROYAL WARWICKS
