WALL-MOUNTED WOODEN BOARD WITH CARVED, GILT PAINTED LETTERING. GILT PAINTED BORDER. CENOLATED AT TOP. UNIDENTIFIED SHEILD AND MOTTO AT TOP CENTRE.

SEMPER/ DEVON/ FIDELIS/ TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN MEMORY/ OF THOSE MEMBERS WHO DIED FOR/ THEIR COUNTRY IN THE WARS/ 1914-1918/ (NAMES)/ 1939-1945/ (NAMES)/ THEIR MEMORY LIVETH/ FOR EVERMORE/ THIS TABLET WAS ERECTED BY THE SWANSEA DEVONIAN SOCIETY/ (UNABLE TO READ BOTTOM LINE FROM PHOTO) (ON ADDITION PLAQUE AT BASE OF BOARD): THIS MEMORIAL/ WAS UNVEILED ON OCTOBER 9TH 1952 BY/ MRS S.T. DREW, WIFE OF THE FOUNDER, AND/ DESIGNED BY W.J. WEBBER, ESQ. (PAST PRESIDENT)/ TO REPLACE THE WAR MEMORIAL DESTROYED/ BY ENEMY ACTION ON JANUARY 17TH, 1941 AT/ THE METHODIST CHURCH, OXFORD ST. SWANSEA.
