WHOLE IS SURMOUNTED BY A ROOF AND LATIN CROSS AT THE APEX. METAL PORTRAIT MEDALLION ABOVE THE INSCRIPTION FOR D A THOMAS, 1ST VISCOUNT RHONDDA. COAT OF ARMS OF THE LOCAL DISTRICTS CARVED IN RELIEF IN EACH PEDIMENT
